This is Nassau County’s quarterly Whole-Community EM Program Stakeholder Workshop! Please share this invitation with others who would like to participate.
It is your opportunity to discuss local vulnerabilities and capabilities, and to determine each stakeholder’s role in Nassau’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Program (CEMP) and the resilience of our Community Lifelines.
Stakeholder Workshops address our CEMP’s
- Strategic & Preparedness Plans (to mitigate hazards and build response capabilities through collaborative training and exercises, as well as resource acquisition, maintenance, and improvements)
- Response Operations & Short-Term-Recovery Plans (during and immediately following local hazard impacts)
Workshops will include analyses of local threats and risks, reviews of and revisions to written plans, and the development of improvement strategies for Nassau’s CEMP.
Specific topics for each quarter’s workshop agenda will vary.
