Nassau County Sheriff’s Office escorted Jeep on road and trail ride along the scenic bluffs of the St. Mary’s River to benefit our children.
Please join us for a Nassau County Sheriff’s Office escorted Jeep ride, both on road and off road (through wooded logging trails on Rayonier property) for approximately 50 miles, including along the scenic bluffs of the St. Mary’s River. The Leeperz Jeeperz ride will start at the Northeast Florida Fair in Callahan, Florida (check in begins at 8:30AM and the Jeeps will depart at 10:00AM SHARP) and will ride for about an hour and half and end on Rayonier property on a beautiful bluff on the St. Mary’s River, where lunch will be available for purchase from the Hot Dog House and Icy Spot trucks. A 50/50 raffle and raffles for other great prizes will be held during lunch.
All proceeds go to the NCSO Shops with Cops Program to provide children in Nassau County an opportunity to shop during the holiday season. Every December, approximately 350 children are selected by the guidance counselors of the Nassau County School District. Each child is allotted $100 each, with half to be spent on necessities (clothing, school supplies, etc.) and the remainder on wants (toys) and shop with a member of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office at Walmart in Yulee. It’s a touching event and we welcome anyone supporting our program to come and see this happen each December.
We had a great ride the last two years and look forward to an even more exciting ride this year lunch will be available at Rayonier Pavilion at the bluff.
Included in the General Admission ticket purchase is one T-shirt if you purchase that General Admission ticket through EventBrite before March 19, 2023 by 5:00PM. You must indicate your shirt size with the EventBrite purchase in order to receive a shirt (due to manufacturing lead time). Additional T-Shirts may be also be ordered through EventBrite only for $20 until March 19, 2023 at 5:00PM, and you must indicate your shirt size with the EventBrite Additional T-Shirt order to receive a shirt. Feel free to join us, and pay by cash or credit card the day of the event, but event day General Admission sales will not include a T-shirt and extra T-shirt supplies will be limited.
