Outreach & Training
Community engagement and public education are important to Nassau County Emergency Management. We work with residents, homeowners' associations, civic groups, non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations, houses of worship, and businesses throughout the county to increase emergency preparedness and community resilience. Our staff members are available to deliver informative presentations, education programs, disaster preparedness literature, and information about volunteering.
