New Quarantine Guidelines

New quarantine time frame options recommended by CDC were adopted by the Florida DOH. This updated guidance does not change the previous 14 day standard for when an exposed person can become infected with COVID but seeks to improve compliance for certain situations and provide an option for shorter quarantine based upon testing and lack of symptoms.

We strongly encourage residents who have been placed on quarantine to consult with the Health Department for their individual situation prior to transitioning into a less restrictive phase. (Call 904.875.6100)
