Locally expect heavy rain (3-5 inches) Wednesday. Saturated ground will enhance the potential for flash flooding. There is a potential for tornadoes and a tornado watch is in effect for Nassau County until 1pm this afternoon. Storm surge is not expected to be an issue with this storm. The probability of tropical storm force winds (39mph +) in the county is 36% with a less than 1% chance of strong tropical force winds (58mph +).
