Welcome to the "One Nassau" Emergency Management Program
Nassau is Experiencing Extreme Drought and Elevated Fire Danger!
Do NOT Burn Anything Outdoors.
Report signs of burning to 904-225-5174 - Call 9-1-1 for any life-threatening emergency.
Phase III Extreme Water Shortage - Further Water Use Restrictions Ordered
NO outdoor watering permitted between 8 am and 6 pm until further notice.
Recent rain was not enough to affect the water table - 26 inches of rain are needed within the next three months to improve extreme drought conditions in NE Florida.
Irrigation is permitted for only one hour per day, either Saturday (odd) or Sunday (even), depending on street address.
If you have not already reset your irrigation timer to water only for one hour (between 6 pm and 8 am) on your assigned day of the week, this should be done immediately.
Inspect irrigation systems for leaks and ensure sprinklers are not watering streets, sidewalks, or driveways.
Current Outdoor Water Use Schedule
-
Houses with ODD numbered addresses - SATURDAY
-
Houses with EVEN numbered addresses - SUNDAY
-
Business/Non-residential properties - TUESDAY
